Not only was their sexual relationship developed but also their friendship. They were a hilarious match! Their relationship evolved naturally it wasn't forced, rushed or instant. He's the divorce lawyer, and she's the marriage counselor. These two were polar opposites but had a magnetic attraction that pulled them together. Poor Emerie Rose had me cracking up with all her dumb luck! She was so sweet, had a heart of gold and only focused on bringing out the best of everyone however, she could be a little naïve at times. All his one-liners were hilarious! I liked his actions were justified by his past and everything he sees and does on a daily basis. He was complex with all the typical attributes sexy, hot, confident, and arrogant however, he was also caring, vulnerable and has a teasing personality. I love coming across a 'new to me' author who not only impresses me with a WONDERFUL, well written story, but can hook me with just one story and Vi Keeland did just that! WOW! This was a fun, feel good romance, with a solid plot, and ticked off everything I love in a good audio! I had a BLAST listening too this one! Kudos Vi! Drew Jagger has become one of my favorite characters. And an attraction that was getting harder to deny by the day. The only thing the two of us had in common was the space we were sharing.
