If you ask me the “character development” in this book wasn’t extreme or tremendous in the good sense of the word. Absolutely the worst explanation I’ve read along with Stephanie Meyers ” Jacob Black was in love with Bella Swan because of her unconceived child Nessie”īefore I go any further, I’d like to point out that I don’t really ship Kerrars or Warnette, so endgame wasn’t the reason I disliked the book. One of the most ridiculous explanations is the explanation we were given on the right that the bird tattooed on Adam’s chest, (the one Juliette always saw in her dreams, a sign of her freedom) was the reason she shared a connection with Adam, because she was destined to fall in love with Warner. The explanations for so many things were so flawed.

And besides that, this book had so many flaws. The writing was beautiful, as always, and the last few chapters were a nice conclusion but I think the book really needed an epilogue. You have been warnedĪt least 80% of the book dealt with the love triangle, previously in her books we always had a strong storyline, but in the finale, when a strong storyline was most needed, the main plot (and potentially one that could have had many challenges and plot twists) was pushed to the side to deal with petty rows. If you haven’t read the book, stop reading this now. The actual plot was rushed, she completely changed the characters ( no shut up, she did she DID!) and when we FINALLY got to the main point of the story, it was over in the blink of an eye and it was completely ridiculously oversimplified. She’s fabulous, her writing is beautiful, but unfortunately Ignite Me was a rushed mess. ) And I am being very generous, because I love Tahereh. I think the majority of the fans are so happy that Warner got the girl, they’ve completely overlooked the story on the way. (I am extremely confused with all the 5 star reviews I am seeing. And as they work together, Juliette will discover that everything she thought she knew-about Warner, her abilities, and even Adam-was wrong.Ģ.5 stars.
